Tait Alexander Nailey is my roommate and one of the most intelligent, considerate, caring, and unique people I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know. He has psychologically removed all of the boundaries that prevented him from connecting to love. Here we have an impromptu conversation about what types of behavior would be present in an ideal society and we share a respectful debate about the merits of monogamy.
Gaia Sangha Eco Village hosted this discussion of 9 stewards of the Earth from the architect of the Eco Village to the Operations manager at the Sierra Club, a light worker who converses with angels to an athiest teacher at an environmental charter school, with performances by a tribal siren and some information from a raw foods nutritional and cleansing coach - with the intention to teach each other and learn as much as possible about how we relate to the planet, what to expect if we continue the current course, and how to change our behaviors by challenging our pyschological programming.
the first half of this cast is our roundtable discussion - the second half are the supplementals - ranging from the origins of the ecovillage to how angels visited our friend and whether or not believing that bringing people together to talk can actually change anybody’s hearts or whether that is naive to believe.
this is a self-observation operation, a mission if you will - accept it if you can:
stay present - it offers an absolute reprieve from suffering.
clear experiential insight into this moment as is
mindfulness of breath leads to clearly observing the sensations that make up our personal biology
frees our breath from the compounding stress overriding us
give attention to your respiration and your sensations, without arbitration
if your mind wanders off - calmly bring it back, every single time
I know the answer seems way too easy, Good, then turn off your miserable inner critic and start practicing.
practice of not reacting to the distractions of the past and the future, the cravings and aversions that have been controlling our minds since we were children.
comprehensively nourish and give life to your health, strength, compassion, clarity, concentration, awareness, and a thorough understanding of impermanence
release the compelling need to be right
forgiveness is the release of all hope for a better past
forgiveness is for anybody who needs safe passage through our minds
let’s let each other safely pass
let’s own ourselves completely
I’m not suggesting that we integrate more opportunities to see clearly,
I’m saying we have to.
It’s time
We now have access to all of the evidence.
A trajectory of misery at this point, it seems intentional.
the chance to come clean with yourself will be outlawed unless you relax
it takes a long time to make love to somebody who hates themselves.
healing is a wounded word - it identifies with the mind to keep coming back from more, rising from falls it keeps taking in vain just for a reason to stand

helplessness is hoping for a miracle
