I admit it, I'm thinking about signing up for Twitter.

Twitter is a terrible service. It’s only positive trait is that it informs some people about some things that they wouldn’t know about if they didn’t have it, but for a moment consider the negatives: In order to get that small % of relative information you have to sift through countless updates about benile minutia that distracts you from your work, your own play, or what-have-you. People will start badgering you for more updates and then pretty soon you live your life for Twitter. It’s a status thing. + You have Tumblr. Tumblr is far superior because the core of it is stimulating content, + multimedia! With Twitter all you have is this overwhelming textual frustration. 

 I admit that I am biased, I have lost some friends to Twitter. Think of it one of two ways, you’re signing up for it because you hope to enjoy it. If you do enjoy it, you’re signing up for a new addiction you don’t need. If you don’t enjoy it, then what would be the point. My guess is that you’ll do a comparison to Tumblr and laugh your head off @  how inferior it is.
